Bournemouth Rocks 2019 is taking place on Saturday 20 July, on the playing field at St Peters School in Southbourne. Bournemouth Rocks is an award-winning charity concert, bring a picnic or enjoy the hog roast/barbeque and listen to a variety of music acts on a fabulous summer evening. Acts performing include Jukebox3, Enrico Nadai, Dynamix Boys and Muzaria.
The event has taken place for the last six years, with the 2018 event receiving the bronze award in the 2019 BH Stars Awards community category. Organisers Eddie and Janet said “We have been asked by several people to continue and put on another concert in 2019.” They continued “On average our concerts pull in approximately 1,000 to 1,500 people and this year it would be good to achieve more to help raise funds for local charities.”
This years concert will be raising for Brendon Care. Gates open at 6pm with the concert starting at 7pm, and closing at 10pm with a firework finale.
