The Bournemouth North Rotary Club’s Donkey Derby and Dog Show, held annually in aid of good causes across Dorset, saw thousands visit Pelhams Park in Kinson on May Bank Holiday 2017.

And with stalls, games, snacks and a series of donkey races around the field, there was something for all the family to enjoy. As well as live music from Poole Borough Band, sponsored by Druitts Solicitors for this event.

Rotary Club president Richard Taylor said: “All the money raised from the day goes to local charities, and everyone has such a lot of fun too.  There was a bit of rain this morning but after that, people came out to support us. We could hardly see the grass for people enjoying the racing.” he continued   “Rotarians have organised the event to raise funds for charity for almost 40 years.  During this time they have raised well in excess of £140,000.  We hope this event continues, it’s wonderful to see the community coming together.”
